A Trip Out to Western Cackalacky

A few weekends ago (where did the time go?!) Zach and I made a trip to the western side of North Carolina to visit Asheville. I had heard so many good things about the city and having a love for the mountains, I knew that it would be a place I would enjoy visiting. I was right. Asheville was just as quirky, artsy and beautiful as I was told. For my birthday, I was gifted a couple tickets to see Brandi Carlile in Asheville at the Orange Peel (thanks, Mom!), so Z and I decided to make a weekend out of it. I have SO many photos that I want to share with you all and everyone says a photo speaks a thousand words, so here are some photos that will best explain describe our travels.

Wicked Weed Brewing, Downtown Asheville

The Roost An Urban Farm B&B, West Asheville, Front door

The Roost An Urban Farm B&B, West Asheville, Farm in backyard

I look forward to making another trip to Asheville soon - especially with this sunny warm weather upon us! I think it's time for some outdoorsy explorations in the mountains, who's with me?
